Content Guidelines

BubbleFic is a fiction reading and writing service for adults aged 18 and over. These rules apply to stories, titles, descriptions, covers, characters, images, GIFs, profiles, AI requests and results, reports, and other material submitted through BubbleFic. The same rules apply whether you write manually or use AI.

We welcome imaginative stories, romance, suspense, conflict and difficult subjects. Treat other people with respect, use material you have rights to use, and give readers accurate context about sensitive themes.

Adult fiction and non-graphic intimacy

BubbleFic is for adults aged 18 and over. Permitted stories are available without a Mature label or a separate sensitive-content reading setting. Strong language and non-graphic adult themes do not by themselves make a story prohibited.

We allow non-graphic intimacy between consenting adults: kissing, embracing, sensual dialogue, implied sex, fade-to-black scenes, and the emotional or relationship consequences of intimacy. A romance can acknowledge that adults spend the night together without detailing sexual acts.

Explicit sexual descriptions are prohibited even when a scene serves a narrative, character, artistic, or emotional purpose. Being an adults-only service does not change this boundary. Keep public profile artwork, titles and previews within the same rules.

Content we do not allow

Sexual content and exploitation

Do not submit pornography, explicit sexual descriptions, or detailed depictions of sexual acts, sexual mechanics, or sexual organs in a sexual context. This applies to text, images, GIFs and AI prompts. Narrative, character, artistic, or emotional purpose is not an exception; the rule does not depend on sexual arousal being the main purpose of the story.

Sexualization of anyone under 18 is prohibited, including fictional characters, ambiguous ages, age-play presenting someone as a minor, and AI-generated material. We also prohibit grooming, sexual exploitation, trafficking, facilitation of prostitution, non-consensual intimate images, sexual deepfakes of real people, and content that eroticizes or promotes sexual assault. Serious, non-graphic treatment of trauma or recovery may be allowed when it does not sexualize or exploit the abuse.

Graphic violence and harmful instructions

Do not submit graphic or realistic depictions of people or animals being killed, maimed, tortured or abused, including material created to shock, disgust or glorify cruelty. Non-graphic fictional conflict and thoughtful treatment of its consequences may be allowed.

Do not encourage or provide actionable instructions for real-world violence, self-harm, suicide, serious crime, dangerous drug production or reckless use of weapons. Do not promote dangerous challenges or exploit real tragedies to encourage harm. Non-instructional fictional treatment of difficult topics must not encourage readers to carry out harmful acts.

Hate, harassment and threats

Do not threaten, bully, stalk, defame or target people for humiliation. Do not promote hatred, discrimination or dehumanization based on characteristics such as race, ethnicity, nationality, religion, sex, gender identity, sexual orientation or disability. Extremist recruitment and praise of terrorist violence are prohibited.

Fiction may depict prejudice critically or portray flawed characters, but fictional framing is not a way to promote hatred or disguise targeted abuse. Do not attack other creators over their work or organize harassment campaigns.

Privacy and deceptive use of real people

Do not publish someone's private contact details, home address, identity documents, credentials, confidential communications or other personal information without a lawful basis and any required permission. Do not impersonate a real person or present fabricated statements, images or endorsements as authentic. Do not create sexual, humiliating or threatening depictions of identifiable real people.

Copyright and other rights

Publish only work you created or have the necessary rights to use. Do not copy another author's story or upload unauthorized art, photographs, lyrics or other protected material. Credit alone does not replace permission. Fan fiction and AI-generated content must also respect third-party rights. Use GIFs through authorized sources and do not remove required attribution or evade a source's restrictions.

Scams, spam and service abuse

Do not use profiles or stories for scams, malware, phishing, illegal transactions or deceptive promotions. Do not flood the service with repetitive content, manipulate popularity, evade suspensions, bypass moderation or submit knowingly false reports. A purchase, subscription or credit balance does not exempt anyone from these rules.

Review before publishing

Read the entire story, including its title, description and media. Check that all sexual or romantic adult framing is unambiguous where age matters, replace prohibited detail, confirm your rights to every image or GIF, and keep adult intimacy non-graphic. Review AI output as carefully as your own writing.

BubbleFic uses automated safety checks and human review. A story may require edits before publication, and published material may later be restricted or removed. Automated approval does not guarantee compliance. We consider context and purpose, but severe exploitation, threats and other prohibited content cannot be cured with a warning label.

Reports, action and human review

For a story concern, choose Report Story from the story's menu and select the relevant reason. For a profile, creator, copyright issue or another concern, email support@bubblefic.app with the story link or title, author handle, issue and enough information to locate it. Do not download or forward suspected child sexual abuse material or other illegal sexual media; provide identifying information instead.

Reports are handled privately by authorized reviewers rather than published to readers. We cannot promise absolute confidentiality where disclosure is legally required. We prioritize credible urgent safety concerns and respond in a timely manner. BubbleFic is not an emergency-response service.

We may ask for edits, refuse publication, remove content, or restrict or suspend an account. Serious or repeated violations may result in permanent loss of access. Where appropriate and legally permitted, we explain the reason. If you believe we made a mistake, email support identifying the decision and explaining why it should be reviewed. You may request human review of an automated decision. Applicable legal notice and appeal rights remain available.
